HH the Emir Issues Instruments of Ratification

Doha, May 25 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani issued Monday an instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement for diplomatic and consular cooperation between the government of Qatar and its Kuwaiti counterpart. The draft was signed in Kuwait on 18/6/2002. HH the Emir also approved a draft Memorandum of Understanding for maritime transport between the Government of Qatar and that of Kenya. It was signed in Nairobi on 11/9/2014. Furthermore, HH the Emir issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement on aerial services between the government of Qatar and the government of Guinea signed in Doha on 27/1/2014. HH the Emir issued another instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement on cooperation in economic, commerce and technical fields between the government of Qatar and that of Kenya. It was signed in Doha on 23/4/2014. Additionally, HH the Emir issued an instrument of ratification approving an agreement between the government of Qatar and Kenya regarding avoiding double taxation and fiscal evasion related to income tax. HH the Emir issued an instrument of ratification signing and approving Beijing Treaty Audiovisual Performances which was adopted during the Diplomatic Conference on the Protection of Audiovisual Performances of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in June 2012. Finally, HH the Emir issued an instrument of ratification approving a draft agreement between the government of Qatar and the Federal government of the United States to improve international tax compliance and to carry out the foreign account tax compliance act and a Memorandum of Understanding related to the subject signed in Doha on 7/1/2015.
