HH the Emir of Qatar Attends Closing Ceremony of Handball World Cup

Doha, February 01 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani attended Sunday the closing ceremony of the 24th Men's Handball World Championship at the Lusail Sports Arena. HH Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani and HH Personal Representative of HH the Emir Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani and HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani all attended the ceremony. A number of their excellencies members of the cabinet and heads of sports federations attended the final as well. HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani attended the final which was held between Qatar and France. The match ended 25-22 in favor of the French team. HH the Emir then crowned the winners with the golden medals after the end of the match. (QNA)
