HH the Emir of Qatar, British Prime Minister Hold Official Talks

London, October 29 (QNA) - HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani discussed with the British Prime Minister David Cameron bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and ways to strengthen them at all levels. The official talks which were held at the Prime Minister's Office No. 10 Downing Street" in London this afternoon, also dealt with a number of current international and regional issues, especially the situation in the region. On the British side, the talks were attended by a number of ministers. It was also attended by a number of their excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying HH the Emir. Following the talks, HE the Foreign Minister Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al-Attiyah and the British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for establishing a ministerial forum for dialogue between the Government of the State of Qatar and the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (partnership), as an annual ministerial dialogue forum aims to strengthen relations between the two countries in the areas of political dialogue in order to enhance mutual interests, including regional security and stability in the region. Then, HE Qatar's Ambassador to the United Kingdom Yousuf bin Ali Al Khater handed over a letter to Mr. Nick Perry, Adviser to British Prime Minister, concerning a grant from the State of Qatar to support the Margaret Thatcher Scholarship Trust.
