HH The Emir of Qatar Leaves Islamabad to Sri Lanka

Islamabad, March 24 (QNA) - HH The Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani concluded two-days visit to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and left Tuesday Islamabad heading to Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka . HH The Emir was seen off at Noor Khan air base by HE Prime Minister of Pakistan Mohammed Nawaz Sharif . Pakistan's Minister of Petroleum and Natural resources Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and a number of senior Pakistani officials were present as well. HE Ambassador of Qatar to Pakistan Saqr Mubarak Al Mansouri and Pakistan's Ambassador to Qatar Shahzad Ahmed were there as well. HH The Emir was accompanied during the visit to Pakistan by a high-level official delegation. HH The Emir sent two cables to HE the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan of Memnon Hussein and HE Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, the prime minister, expresing his sincere thanks and appreciation for the hospitality and good reception that his HH and delegation received during the visit which will contributed to the promotion and development of brotherhood and cooperation relations between the two countries in various fields for the welfare and interests of the two peoples. HH wishing in his cables to both the President and Prime Minister a good health and happiness and the people of the Pakistani people further progress and prosperity.(QNA)
