HH The Emir of Qatar Meets Chinese Ambassador

Doha, April 20 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met at the Emiri Diwan office on Monday morning with HE Ambassador of the Republic of China to Qatar Gao Youzhen on the occasion of the expiry of his tour of duty in the country. At the outset of the meeting, HH the Emir awarded HE the Ambassador the Sash of Merit in appreciation of the role he had exerted in further strengthening the relations between the two countries and wished him all success in his future assignments and relations between Qatar and the Republic of China further progress and prosperity. For his part, the Republic of China's Ambassador expressed his gratitude and appreciation to HH the Emir and the State's officials for the cooperation he received during his tenure in Qatar. (QNA)
