"The Palestinian cause and the peace process in the Middle East remain a file that we will carry in all our bilateral and regional and international meetings, thus we have been seeking to resolve it by establishing the independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital according to resolutions of the international legitimacy and the Arab peace initiative to end hardships of our brothers. "We will never enjoy security and stability as long as this (Palestinian) cause remains unresolved." , the Emir of Kuwait underlined On Iraq, the Emir of Kuwait expressed satisfaction at efforts of the Iraqi Government with respect of restoring the country's security and stability. "We affirm our full support for realizing this objective," he said, expressing solid confidence in the Iraqi leaders' efforts to overcome the hard circumstances. Turning to Libya, Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed expressed concern at the recent developments in this country and called for joint action to resolve the "conflict to spare the Libyan blood and restore stability to Libya." Touching on the Iranian nuclear issue, he urged Tehran to response to international efforts regarding its nuclear program. After concluding his speech, the Emir of Kuwait declared handover of the summit chairmanship to the Egyptian president. Addressing the 26th Arab Summit inaugural session, Egyptian President Abdelfatah Al-Sisi said the ongoing Arab move to help Yemen was "imperative", accusing some "external parties" of capitalizing on the domestic circumstances of Arab countries to interfere in their affairs. Al-Sisi welcomed a draft resolution agreed by Arab foreign ministers on the creation of a joint Arab force. He said that the crises in the region have reached an unprecedented danger, renewing calls for a unified Arab force to confront regional security threats. On terrorism, he called for laying down guidelines for the use of information and communication technology in order to address the new perils and dangers of terrorism. He added that the Arab world pins much hope on this summit, emphasizing that several challenges and issues have to be addressed "without any delay and through effective tools". "Such challenges target the identity of the Arab nation. We have noted how terrorists capitalized on the people's needs to hijack nations," Al-Sisi said. Calling for addressing Arab problems economically and socially, the Egyptian leader said: "It's now imperative for us to unify efforts to tackle such risks." Al-Sisi added that there is an urgent need to filter the religious rhetoric of extremism, while emphasizing the need to support the elected and legitimate Libyan government. Addressing the 26th Arab Summit, Yemeni President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi on Saturday called on the Saudi-led coalition to continue the bombing campaign in his country until the "Houthi gangs surrender." Hadi said "Operation Decisive Storm must continue until the gangs of the Houthis surrender." "This operation comes to protect the Yemeni people," he added, referring to the Saudi-led campaign which began late on Wednesday. Hadi said the Houthis were "an Iranian doll" that destroyed the country. He thanked all nations that took part in the military campaign which he said was aimed at "supporting the Yemeni legitimacy." He called on his fellow countrymen to stand by the constitutional legitimacy. Hadi said he was present in this meeting because of the will of the Yemeni people to address the Arab leaders. He pledged to reconstruct the Yemeni army. Hadi also voiced support to the legitimate United Arab Emirates' right in the three Islands' issue. Addressing the 26th Arab Summit, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia said 'A few days ago, this city witnessed the convening of the World Economic Conference, in which embodied the support of Arab and international community for Egypt. Today, we meet to deliberate on ways for overcoming the political and security crises many Arab countries suffer, and to address the various challenges that confront us.' The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques also said 'The excruciating reality of terrorism, internal conflicts, and bloodshed experienced by a number of Arab countries are only the inevitable result of an alliance between terrorism and sectarianism, which is led by regional powers whose blatant interventions in the Arab region have resulted in undermining security and stability in some of our countries. In Yemen, the foreign intervention enabled the Houthi militias to overtake the legitimate authority, occupy Sanaa, and disrupt the implementation of the Gulf Initiative which has sought to preserve Yemen's unity, stability and security. The response of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to the call of Yemen's President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi to hold the Riyadh Dialogue Conference in Riyadh under the umbrella of GCC General Secretariat meant to provide Yemen a safe passage to stability and to ensure a return to the normal status within the framework of the Gulf Initiative and its implementation mechanism that have enjoyed Arab and international support.' 'As the Houthi militia -- backed by regional powers that aim at extending their dominance on Yemen and using it a base for their influence in the region -- continues its intransigence and rejection of the warnings of the Yemeni legitimacy, the Gulf Cooperation Council, the Security Council and all peace initiatives, and as it moves forward in its aggression against the Yemeni people and its legitimate authority, and threatens the security of the region; the brotherly and friendly countries participating in the Determination Storm have accepted the request of Yemen's President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi for a stand by Yemen and its people and legitimate authority, to deter the Huthi aggression which represents a major threat to the security and stability of the region and the international peace and security, and to counter terrorist organizations,' the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques added.(QNA)
