HH the Emir of Qatar Receives Phone Call from Khaled Mishaal and Ismail Haniyeh

Doha, October 12 (QNA) - HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received today two telephone calls from Khaled Mishaal, president of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement in Palestine (Hamas), and Dr Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas political bureau vice-president. During the phone calls, Mishaal and Dr Haniyeh extended their thanks and appreciation to HH the Emir for the support provided by the State of Qatar today during the international donor conference for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip in Cairo. They also praised the Emir, Government and people of Qatar's positions and continued efforts in support of the just cause of the Palestinian people. HH the Emir said that Qatar will spare no effort to continue supporting the struggle and steadfastness of the Palestinian people to restore their national inalienable rights, primarily their right to establish their independent state on their national soil with Al-Quds al-Sharif as its capital on the basis of the two-state solution, in addition to the achievement of a just, lasting and comprehensive peace.
