HH Shaikh Mohammed participates in the traditional Ardha to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the National Action Charter

Manama, Feb.13 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa, son of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince today attended the traditional Ardha, organised by the Southern Governorate at the Shaikh Salman bin Ahmed Al-Fatih Fort in Riffa, as part of the festivities marking the 15th anniversary of the National Action Charter (NAC). Upon his arrival, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman was received by His Excellency Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Governor of the Southern Governorate and a number of senior officials. Marking the occasion, His Highness extended congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister and all Bahrainis. His Highness joined the festivities, participating in the traditional Ardha dance and listening to the recitation of several patriotic poems which celebrated the Kingdom’s development. In commemoration of this important event, His Highness highlighted the many key achievements of His Majesty King Hamad’s development programme, noting that these serve as a deep source of pride for all Bahrainis. His Highness then stressed the importance of continued national support for Bahrain’s long-term development. His Highness concluded by noting that these celebrations reflect national sentiments of unity and loyalty. His Highness then prayed to the Almighty that Bahrain and its people continue to enjoy prosperity under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad. For his part, His Excellency Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa congratulated the leadership and the people of Bahrain on the NAC anniversary. His Excellency expressed his pride to participate in this celebration that marks the 15th anniversary of the NAC, which was overwhelmingly endorsed by 98.4% of voters. His Excellency then highlighted that the wide participation of Bahrainis in the traditional Ardha marking this important milestone event reflects their support to the country's long-term development.
