HH Sheikha Moza Witnesses Shafallah Center Graduation Ceremony

Doha, October 07 (QNA) - HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser has witnessed the graduation ceremony for the first batch of students of Shafallah Center for Children with Special Needs, which comprised 189 graduates. A number of state officials attended the ceremony along with board members of Qatar Foundation for Social Action and parents of graduating students. Addressing the ceremony, chairperson of Qatar Foundation for Social Action, Munira Al Misnad, expressed sincere thanks to HH Sheikha Moza bint Nasser for gracing the event and praised her efforts for integrating people with mental disabilities, educating them and stimulating their capacities. Al Misnad said agreements that were signed with some entities have resulted in 84 graduates joining the workforce in different state sectors. She urged officials to work with Qatar Foundation for Social Action to find a supportive environment for vulnerable sectors of society. She also encouraged graduates for their punctuality and sense of responsibility and thanked the management of Shafallah Center as well as parents for their support for students. (QNA)
