Manama, July 21 (BNA): Southern Governor, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, held a telephone call with the Tokyo Governor, Yuriko Koike, and congratulated her on winning the 2020 Tokyo gubernatorial election. HH the Governor stressed the depth of the Bahraini-Japanese relations, highlighting ways to bolster cooperation between the Southern Governorate and Tokyo across various fields. The Tokyo Governor expressed thanks and appreciation to HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali for congratulating her on her victory, praising his interest in enhancing relations between Bahrain and Japan.
