Highly revered abbot passes away at the age of 92

NAKHON RATCHASIMA, May 16 (TNA) - Highly revered abbot Luang Phor Khoon passed away at the age of 92. His body will be donated to the Faculty of Medicine, Khon Kaen University as stated in his will to be used for medical reserch. Laung Phor Khoon Porisuddho, the abbot of Baan Rai temple in the northeastern province of Nakhon Ratchasima died at 11.45am today, according to the fourth statement of Maharat Nakhon Ratchasima Hospital. His condition deteriorated this morning following internal chest bleeding and kidney malfunction. The seven-day funeral will be held for the highly revered abbot. After two years, a royal cremation will be held for his body. (TNA)
