HM King arrives in Riyadh

Riyadh, May 5 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa arrived in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's capital, Riyadh, heading the Kingdom of Bahrain's delegation to the 15th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) advisory meeting which begins later today. His Majesty was received upon arrival by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of the Interior, HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, Deputy Crown Prince, second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defence, the Governor of Riyadh HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud, princes and ministers, the GCC Secretary-General Dr. Abdul-Latif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, the Kingdom's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Shaikh Humood bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Embassy members and senior Saudi officials. The Honour Mission was formed under the chairmanship of Saudi Minister of Commerce and Industry, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fozan Al-Rabea. The fifteenth advisory meeting comes at an extremely critical time under unprecedented developments which necessitate strong cohesion to confront imminent challenges and dangers emanating from the solid belief in the shared destiny and common goals of the GCC as an organisation that has proven its worth and consolidated its position under these hazardous circumstances. All the GCC countries are bound and united by aspirations, hopes and strong desire to boost joint GCC cooperation to capably and wisely cope with various transformations and challenges.
