HM the King: Bahrain always supports brotherly countries

Manama, May 4 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa arrived today at Ta'if Airport in Saudi Arabia in an inspection visit to the Bahraini forces participating in the operations by the Arab coalition forces. He was welcomed by Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Makkah Governor Prince Khalid Al Faisal bin Abdulaziz, Makkah Follow-up Director General Prince Faisal bin Mohammed bin Sa'ad, Ta'if Governor Fahad bin Abdulaziz bin Muammar, Assistant Minister of Defence for Military Affairs Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Ayesh and Ta'if Military Zone Commander Major General Faris Al Omri. HM the King paid an inspection visit to the Bahraini forces operating as part of the Arab coalition forces and was updated on the flying line at King Fahad Air Base in Ta'if. He watched the planes' take-off for their missions and a parade by the coalition jet fighters which are currently taking part in the Restore Hope Operation. HM King Hamad listened to a briefing on Bahrain's duty force and was updated on the Fifth Squadron and Al-Faisal Museum for Aviation Sciences. HM the King wrote in the Visitors' Book and took commemorative photos with the pilots. During his visit to King Fahad Air Base, HM the King lauded the farsighted vision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on regional developments and his wisdom in taking a decision for the "Operation Decisive Storm" and "Restore Hope". This decision, he stressed, has boosted joint action to protect achievements and preserve dignity while confronting the challenge facing the Arabs in Yemen. HM King Hamad emphasised Bahrain's unwavering stance to support brotherly countries in facing challenges and dangers posed to the Arab nation. He also expressed happiness about visiting Bahrain's armed forces in tribute to their efforts in defending the Arab and human dignity and achieving security and peace in the region. HM the King hailed the appointment of Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Crown Prince and Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as Deputy Crown Prince. He thanked Prince Khalid Al Faisal for the gracious welcome and hospitality, wishing the Saudi-led efforts success in ensuring security, stability and growth for Yemen. HM King Hamad left earlier Bahrain for Ta'if. He was bidden farewell by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
