HM King congratulated on endurance achievement

Manama, Aug.12 (BNA): Youth and Sports Affairs Hesham Mohammed Al-Jowder extended sincerest congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa on the victory achieved by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, SCYS First Deputy Chairman, Bahrain Athletics Association (BAA) Chief and Al-Khaldia Stables Captain, who ranked first in the endurance race, which was held in Sweden. He paid tribute to His Majesty’s Representative for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) President and Royal Endurance Team captain His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, hailing his participation and leading of the Royal Endurance Team. The minister hailed the victory of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al-Khalifa who won the race, commending the achievement of the Royal Endurance Team which clinched the top four spots in the race. He hailed the landmark sport achievement, which coincided with the World Youth Day that falls on the 12th of August, paying tribute to Bahrain youth who honour the Kingdom in all international arenas.
