HM King congratulated by HH SHaikh Khalid bin Hamad

Manama, Jan. 19 (BNA): First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on being awarded the Legion of Merit, Degree of Chief Commander, by US President, Donald J. Trump, in recognition of HM’s major role in supporting regional and global stability. HH Shaikh Khalid expressed deep pride in the prestigious award conferred on HM the King, noting that it is a vote of confidence in the royal vision on supporting global peace and stability. HH Shaikh Khalid pointed out that the Legion of Merit confirms the successful efforts exerted by HM the King to strengthen Bahrain’s relations with the US, and bolster cooperation with it in a way that consolidates its status as a strategic ally to the US. HH Shaikh Khalid prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM the King with abundant health and happiness, and to guide him on the right path for the best interests of Bahrain and its people.
