HM King Hamad holds call with Al Azhar Grand Imam

Sharm El-Sheikh, Apr. 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa held a telephone call with the Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Al Shareef Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayyib and thanked him for the good welcome he received during his visit to Al-Azhar Al Shareef. HM the King praised Al Azhar Al Shareef's approach of moderation which reflects the Islamic values of tolerance and renunciation of all forms of extremism. He also reiterated Bahrain's appreciation of Al Azhar's standing and its pioneering Islamic role in confronting challenges and alien ideologies. Dr. Al-Tayyib thanked HM the King for his support to Al Azhar Al Shareef and its noble role.
