HM King Hamad receives Quartet Middle East Peace Envoy

Manama, Apr. 18 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriya Palace today visiting former British Prime Minister and international Quartet Middle East Peace Envoy Tony Blair who updated him on the efforts of the committee to press ahead with regional and international efforts to resume the peace process. HM the King welcomed him, lauding his role in boosting historic relations between Bahrain and the UK. He also expressed hope Blair's efforts and political experience would push forward the regional and international efforts to achieve just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East. HM the King discussed with the international Quartet Envoy the latest regional and international developments.
