HM King lauded for supporting Bahraini women

Manama, May 3 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable from Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW). HRH Princess Sabeeka lauded the noble values embedded in HM the King's keynote message marking the World Press Freedom Day. She hailed HM King Hamad's renewed clear vision on the comprehensive progress of the national media whose strength stems from its openness and ability to deal with the requirements of the nation and the aspirations of the people responsibly, being the main defensive tools to protect its freedoms and rights. HRH Princess Sabeeka voiced pride in HM the King's praise of Bahraini women's landmark contributions to building the nation, praising the unprecedented and unmatched Royal care allocated to women, which, she said, has ensured them equal opportunities and increased their patriotic achievements, as revealed by statistics. She extended sincere thanks and appreciation to HM the King for his constant support to the SCW, which, she pledged, will continue serving and advancing Bahraini women thanks to the sound Royal directives.
