HM the King lauds Duty Force One personnel's bravery

Manama, Oct. 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, today paid a visit to General Command of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), where was he welcomed upon arrival by the BDF Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi and a number of senior officers. HM the King was briefed by the Royal Guard Commander Brigadier-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, under whose command the BDF's "Duty Force-One" carried out its honourable duties in brotherly Yemen. The briefing included detailed explanation about the tasks accomplished successfully by the BDF unit while participating, within the Joint Arab Coalition and alongside the Yemeni National Army and the Popular Resistance forces, in the liberation of Marib and taking full control of the Bab Al-Mandab Strait for the sake of restoring international navigation and supporting brotherly Yemen's security and progress. HM King lauded the outstanding command of Shaikh Nasser and Shaikh Khalid of the Duty Force-One, and their keenness to be with the brethren of arms at the frontlines, and praised the successes they had achieved and the sacrifices they had made during such a difficult mission, stressing their heroism and valor are a source of deep pride. HM King Hamad added that Duty Force One members have performed their sacred duties to the fullest and with outstanding success, which, he asserted, reflects the BDF personnel's high competence, strong resolve and success in carrying out all the duties assigned to them, extending sincere appreciation to all BDF affiliates.
