HM King orders disbursement of annual grant to families

Manama, May 30 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in His Majesty's annual habit, has issued a Royal Order to disburse Ramadan gift to all Royal Charity Organisation (RCO)-sponsored families on the occasion of the holy month of the near advent of the holy month of Ramadan for the year 1437H corresponding to the year 2016. His Majesty directed the Royal Charity Organisation presided over by HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to assume the task of disbursement of this gift to the families ahead of the holy month of Ramadan to assist the families to cater for their needs and necessities in the holy month and to alleviate their financial burdens. On this occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Representative of HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Royal Charity Organisation (RCO)'s Board of Trustees expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa the Honorary President of the Royal Charity Organisation for His Majesty's patronage and compassionate paternal care for RCO-sponsored families, citing His Majesty's constant directives to provide dignified livelihood to the kingdom's citizens and sharing with them all the various occasions. HH Shaikh Nasser said this yearly Royal Grant is a humanitarian initiative emanating from a loving-kind paternal heart that is keen on the provision of all sorts of support for his compatriots which is not unprecedented from His Majesty who is always keen on doing philanthropic deeds and providing dignified livelihood to his loyal people and directing all sorts of continuous support and diversified care to orphans and widows to ensure a stable and dignified living for them as His Majesty is their principal supporter to continue the life, to bear its burden and provide children good education and upbringing. For his part, the RCO secretary-general Dr. Mustafa Alsayed said this yearly Royal Grant comes from His Majesty the King emanating from His Majesty's constant keenness and attentiveness to direct all forms of support to the citizens on all occasions to ensure them a stable and dignified livelihood. This grant goes to the benefit of all RCO-registered orphans and widows totaling 10,000. Dr. Alsayed added that according to this generous royal gift and at the directives of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Organisation has finalized all the procedures to disburse this grant to the beneficiaries and deposited the amounts in the bank accounts of all RCO-sponsored families.
