HM King pardons 40 young inmates

Manama, Aug. 17 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today approved the issuance of list B of the Royal Decree on pardon and release, including 40 young Bahraini inmates who have served more than half of their jail terms, and showed good conduct during them. The kind royal gesture, marking Eid Al-Adha, reflects HM the King’s keenness on taking the age of the the pardoned inmates into account, and the need to set them back on the right path, as the pardon is an opportunity to follow up on them and correct their behaviour to ensure they do not violate the law again. The pardoned inmates will be handed over to their parents, as per the national laws in force.
