HM King receives letter from Philippines President

Manama, June 12 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a letter from President Rodrigo Duterte of the Philippines on ways of boosting the close bilateral relations in various fields.
HM the King today received the Philippines President's Special Envoy to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, Dr. Amabel Aguiluz, who handed over the letter.

The Philippines Presidential Envoy conveyed greetings of President Rodrigo Duterte to HM the King and to the people of Bahrain further progress and well-being.

HM the King extended his greetings to the Philippines President, wishing the people of the Philippines more growth and prosperity.

HM the King welcomed the advanced level of relations between the two countries at various levels, praising the successful visit of the Philippines President to the Kingdom of Bahrain last year and the agreements and memorandum of understandings signed, which enhanced the Bahraini-Filipino cooperation in economic, trade, investment and education fields.

HM the King commended the Filipino community’s contributions to the development march witnessed by Bahrain, pointing out the Philippines’ development and economic achievements at Asian level.

The Philippines Envoy lauded the royal role in boosting the bilateral relations and interest in the Filipino community members, highlighting his country’s interest to further promote friendship relations with the Kingdom of Bahrain.
