HM the King returns to Bahrain

Manama, May 1 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa returned to Bahrain from the City of Sharm el-Sheikh, concluding an official visit to Egypt at the invitation of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi. The two leaders discussed strong bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues. HM the King was welcomed on arrival by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier. He was seen off earlier at the City of Sharm el-Sheikh by South Sinai Governor Major-General Khalid Fouda, Bahrain Ambassador to Egypt Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa and senior Governorate officials HM the King held a phone call with President Al-Sisi and thanked him on the warm welcome and genuine hospitality he found along with the accompanying delegation. He underscored the importance of the visit which, he said, would consolidate joint cooperation to achieve the aspirations and hopes of the two peoples, wishing Egypt and its people further progress and prosperity, led by President Al-Sisi.
