HM the King thanked by interior minister

Manama, Oct. 9 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable from the Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, who extended sincere thanks and gratitude and voiced loyalty to him for receiving the Bahraini force which participated in the Operation Decisive Storm within the Arab Coalition to restore legitimacy and hope in brotherly Yemen, and expressing pride in its members' sacrifices and victory. The minister paid tribute to HM the King, asserting the honourable role played by the kingdom, in words and deeds, in safeguarding its national sovereignty, protecting its Arab identity and defending the interests of the Arab Nation. He voiced pride in the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) which, he said, has reached the highest levels of military preparedness and professionalism thanks to the leadership of HM the King, the Supreme Commander. The Interior Minister also took pride in the brave role of Royal Guard Commander Brigadier-General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Royal Guard Special Force Commander Major Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who, he said, set an outstanding example of dedication through their effective participation in the command of the Operation Decisive Storm within the Arab Coalition to restore legitimacy in Yemen. He affirmed that Shaikh Nasser and Shaikh Khalid were at the front line of the battlefield alongside BDF's officers and soldiers, following in the footsteps of the forefathers who, thanks to their heroism and victories, supported the right and defended the Arab Nation's sovereignty and interests. They also set the example for Bahraini youth in sacrifice and redemption, he added. The minister prayed to Allah Almighty to preserve HM King Hamad and bless him with success and victory, and safeguard the Kingdom from all evil.
