HM King's speech at 26th Arab Summit hailed

Manama, Mar. 29 – (BNA): Bahrain's dailies hailed the speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the 26th Arab Summit in Sharm El-Shaikh as the embodiment of Bahrain's comprehensive perspective of belonging and obligation towards key national Arab issues. HM the King's address to the 26th Arab Summit reflects the spirit of genuine responsibility shouldered by His Majesty regarding intensification of efforts to boost Arab unity, cooperation to achieve security and stability in the region and ensure stable and secure livelihood of the Arab peoples in their countries, especially as Arab security has been under threat, Al Ayam newspaper said. His Majesty the King expressed the Kingdom's resolute stance and Arab duties, Al Ayam stressed. Bahrain responded to the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the request of Yemen's legitimate President Abdrabou Mansur Hadi for military intervention to restore security and stability to the war-torn, conflict-ravaged sisterly Republic of Yemen to reverse the complications of foreign intervention. Bahrain affirmed its strong supportive stances vis-à-vis key Arab and regional issues such as rejection of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) in the region, joining the fight against extremism and terrorism, and full solidarity regarding crucial Arab issues. Bahrain welcomed the principle of creation of a joint Arab military deterrent force whose task would be rapid military intervention to deter any aggression or imminent threat to the security and stability of any Arab country. Al Bilad newspaper said the historic speech of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa at the 26th Arab Summit in Sharm El-Shaikh constituted the comprehensive vision for all expectations and hopes of all Arab countries and aspirations of their peoples regarding challenges facing the region at all levels and spheres, including proper methods and effective tools for strengthening pan-Arab unity and cohesion. The exact and timely military operation by the coalition in supporting the legitimate government in Yemen indicates that the Arabs are on the right path to restore effective power and capability to converge into one-man's heart to overcome the numerous, dangerous challenges whatsoever and to preserve the entity of this nation and to ensure its present and future, Al Bilad said in its editorial. The newspaper said the Saudi-led Arab Alliance-backed Operation Decisive Storm (ODS) indicates that the Arab nation is capable of taking decisive prompt action against anyone who tries to jeopardize the capabilities of Arab peoples, undermine national Arab unity or interfere in the nation's internal affairs by drifting the nation into useless sectarian strife, conflicts or conspiracies by those who want to weaken the Arab nation and desire to usurp the nation's vast rich resources. The daily concluded its editorial by expressing hope that the Arab Summit in Egypt will draw a bright image and consolidate an Arab Order which will ensure the future and present of Arab peoples and countries and the aspirations of our Arab leaders.
