HMC to Host Top U.K. Orthopedic Surgeons

Doha, August 27 (QNA) - Hamad General Hospital's (HGH) Department of Orthopedic Surgery will be hosting two expert surgeons from the United Kingdom's Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust in September. Consultant orthopedic surgeon Dr. Duncan Whitwell, a specialist in hip and knee surgery, will be visiting HGH from September 13 to 17. He will be conducting surgery on September 13, 16 and 17, and will provide patient consultations at the Bone and Joint Center Outpatient Clinic on September 14 and 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Meanwhile, consultant spine surgeon Dr. Colin Nnadi, who specializes in scoliosis and other spinal problems, will be visiting HGH from September 26 to 30. He will perform surgeries September on 27 and 29 and provide consultations at the Bone and Joint Center Outpatient Clinic on September 28 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and on September 30 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Hamad Medical Corporation urged those interested in booking an appointment with the visiting surgeons to visit the Bone and Joint Center at the HGH Outpatient Department (OPD) Annex between 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon from Sunday to Thursday.
