Hotels on resort island in Thai South fully booked

SATUN, May 8 (TNA) - Hotel rooms and resorts on Lipe island in Thai southern province of Satun are fully booked by local and foreign tourists, mostly Chinese and Malaysians. Tourist officials estimate that an average of 3,000 tourists visit Lipe Island daily during the long holidays from May 5- 9. Most tourists enjoy snorkeling and diving to see the beauty of coral reefs. Tonight, there will be special activities, including a music festival and cultural shows by the islanders. It is expected that about 20 million baht will be circulated on the island during this long holiday. (TNA)
