Houston Awards Qatari Diplomat Honorary Citizenship

Houston, June 28 (QNA) - Qatar's General Consul in Houston Mohammed Ahmed Mohammed Al Homaid was chosen as a goodwill ambassador for the city. He also became an honorary citizen in recognition of his contribution to public interest and humanity. This came during a meeting with the Mayor of Houston Sylvester Turner who met the Qatari Consul on the end of his term of office. They discussed enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in economic, health and educational fields. (QNA)
