HRH CP affirms Bahrain's commitment to upholding regional stability

Manama, May 26 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, this evening received a delegation of US Congressmen, headed by Congressman Darrell Issa, at Riffa Palace. HRH the Crown Prince stressed the importance of further strengthening cooperation and coordination with the United States across various fields, highlighting the longstanding strategic partnership between both countries. HRH the Crown Prince affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to upholding regional security while unifying international efforts to defeat terrorism. In this regard, His Royal Highness noted the efforts of the United States and other partners in promoting peace and stability in the region. HRH the Crown Prince noted that Bahrain is looking forward to developing new areas of partnership with the United States, emphasising the Kingdom’s eagerness to work with allies to address those factors that threaten to undermine and destabilise the region. A number of senior officials attended the meeting.
