HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister receives the newly appointed Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain

Manama, Feb. 20 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today received the newly-appointed Ambassador of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Steven C. Bondy, at Riffa Palace. HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the importance of further building upon the longstanding, strong and strategic relations that exist between Bahrain and the United States. His Royal Highness emphasised the advanced cooperation between the two countries in various areas, and the importance of continuing to explore opportunities to develop new strategic partnerships and mutually beneficial initiatives. His Royal Highness welcomed the ambassador, congratulated him on his appointment and wished him every success in performing his duties. Regional and international issues and developments of common interest were discussed. The Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horse Racing Club High Committee, His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
