HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister receives US Chief of Naval Operations

Manama, Jan. 14 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, today received the US Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Michael Gilday, and his accompanying delegation, at Riffa Palace. HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister highlighted the strong historic ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, particularly across military and defence joint cooperation. HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister stressed the importance of further strengthening these ties as well as enhancing coordination across various fields. HRH the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister welcomed Admiral Gilday and his accompanying delegation and underscored the role played by the United States maintaining regional security and stability. Regional and international issues of common interest were also discussed. Bahrain Defence Force Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, was also in attendance.
