HRH the Crown Prince receives Kuwaiti delegation launching first flight to Bahrain from Kuwait’s new state-of-the-art Terminal Four

Manama, Aug.8 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today received senior dignitaries from the State of Kuwait to mark the inauguration of Terminal Four at the Kuwait International Airport, at Riffa Palace. The Kuwaiti delegation, which is launching the first flight from Kuwait’s new terminal to Bahrain, included the Minister of Finance, HE Dr Nayef Al Hajraf, the Minister of State for Housing and Services Affairs, HE Dr Jenan Mohsen Hassan Ramadan, as well as other senior government officials and representatives from Kuwait’s aviation industry. Bahrain’s Minister of Finance, HE Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, HE Kamal bin Ahmed Mohammed also attended the meeting. During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince extended his congratulations to the delegation on the inauguration of the new terminal, highlighting that it represents a new milestone in Kuwait’s efforts to advance its aviation and logistics sector HRH the Crown Prince also highlighted Bahrain’s commitment to continue advancing cooperation and coordination with Kuwait, and stressed that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Emir of Kuwait, HH Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah both play a crucial role in building on historic bilateral ties HRH the Crown Prince went on to recognise the rapid expansion of flights between Bahrain and Kuwait, adding that the launch of the first flight from Terminal Four to Bahrain cements the next phase in aviation relations between both countries  Kuwaiti officials expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH the Crown Prince, and to celebrate this important achievement in the Kingdom of Bahrain
