HRH Premier congratulates, commends health workers on Bahrain Doctor’s Day

Manama, Nov. 4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, the Prime Minister, has expressed his congratulations to the doctors and all health workers in Bahrain as the Kingdom celebrates the Bahraini Doctor’s Day for the first time in its history. HRH the Premier’s congratulations were in appreciation of the dedication by the health professionals to serving their country and society through their sacrifices and noble humanitarian efforts to preserve the safety and health of all. HRH Prince Khalifa has expressed deep pride in the Bahraini men and women working in the medical sector, saying they represented a model of competence, achievements, and distinguished scientific and professional levels, which reflects the success of the policies to invest in the Bahraini citizens as the real assets the development of various sectors. HRH the Premier affirmed that the health sector in Bahrain has been able to prove its competence in facing all health challenges and to hold an advanced position in providing treatment and health services that match the best international standards. HRH the Prime Minister pointed out the importance of the Bahraini doctors’ role in enhancing the efficiency of health services provided to citizens and residents in the Kingdom. HRH Prince Khalifa stressed that the government focuses on the health sector for the development of the important vital sector in a way that achieves the visions and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to enhance various service sectors, empower Bahrainis and bolster their contribution to the development process. HRH the Premier praised in this regard the efforts of the Ministry of Health to upgrade the skills and aptitudes of the Bahraini health professionals. HRH the Prime Minister extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to all Bahraini doctors who have worked hard in the front lines to address the coronavirus pandemic, and commended the sincere performance of the medical personnel in the public and private sectors and lauded them for providing high-quality health services for citizens and residents in the Kingdom. HRH the Premier noted that the Bahraini doctors have an honorable record of sacrifice, sincerity, competence, and readiness to face all challenges, stressing that they are loyal soldiers in confronting challenges so that their country remains safe and healthy and where everyone enjoys health security. HRH Prince Khalifa praised the efforts of the Bahrain Medical Society and its pioneering role in fulfilling the aspirations of the health workers who have accorded life a profound value through their high humanitarian attitudes, and wished success to all Bahraini doctors.
