HRH Premier highlights unity as homeland protector

Manama, July 6 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa tonight paid a visit to Ramadan Majlis of Shaikh Isa bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and stressed that Islam is a religion of harmony that brings people together, and mosques and places of worship and their platforms for preaching, guidance and for the promotion of virtue and prevention of vice, but unfortunately some platforms have deviated from the religious course to adopt calls of segregation. HRH Premier noted that the Islamic nation has got all elements of unity and cohesion, and Muslim people have a common history and leaderships working to provide them with services, achievements and gains that has not been attained in many countries. He said that the Gulf Cooperation Council represents a solid entity where its peoples enjoy a stable state of security eyed by many countries. He pointed out the need to intensify joint efforts to take on the challenges faced by the region for the protection of the achievements accomplished in various fields, for our strength lies in our unity. He underlined that all challenges faced by Bahrain have not deterred our determination from bringing development and prosperity. He highlighted Bahrain as a country of coexistence and tolerance among all. He praised the role the national press and legislatures in the protection of the national achievement. He noted the national unity as the Invulnerable front that protect the homeland against those who target undermining the national stability. He affirmed that terrorist acts have not damaged the unity of the Bahraini community. He called for benefiting from the atmosphere of Ramadan in strengthening social communication and values of moderation. Shaikh Isa bin Khalifa Al Khalifa expressed gratitude for HRH Premier's visit which embodies his keenness on enhancing communication among Bahraini people, pointing out HRH Premier's efforts in uplifting the homeland and bringing more development and prosperity, thanks to the wise policy followed by HRH Premier.
