HRH Premier praises GCC unified stance

Manama, Aug. 4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa who briefed him on the outcome of the GCC Foreign Ministers’ meeting with the US Secretary of State John Kerry yesterday in Qatar. HRH the Premier expressed satisfaction at the GCC unified stance regarding regional and international issues. He lauded the role of the GCC Foreign Ministers in defending issues of concern to the GCC countries to achieve security and stability and confront challenges in a volatile world. HRH the Prime Minister emphasised that taking common stances by the GCC member states is the guarantor of regional security and stability, pointing out the importance of cooperation with friendly countries. He also underlined the importance of security and stability as a prerequisite for progress and development.
