HRH Premier praises solid Bahraini-Indian ties

Manama, July 15 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has affirmed that the chances of success for the Bahraini-Indian cooperation are great based on the two friendly countries’ long-standing solid relations and joint economic and trade cooperation. HRH Premier pointed out that the exchange of visits between officials from the two friendly countries will open up unlimited horizons of cooperation and coordination between them. The Prime Minister made the statements while receiving the Indian External Affairs Minister, Sushma Swaraj, at the Gudaibiya Palace today. HRH Premier stressed the role played by the Indian expatriate community in Bahrain’s development march, praising India’s expertise in various fields, which, he said, paves the way for opening up new areas of bilateral cooperation. HRH the Prime Minister expressed satisfaction with the growth of the Bahraini-Indian relations, noting that the steady progress of bilateral cooperation is the fruitful outcome of the joint agreements signed between the two countries in various fields. HRH Premier stressed that the deep-rooted relations between the two countries have strengthened their strategic partnership in various fields in a way that serves their common interests, achieves their development aspirations and ensures the success of their efforts to strengthen the pillars of security and stability. The meeting also discussed the latest regional and global developments. The Indian minister praised the progress boom currently witnessed by the kingdom thanks to the successful policies adopted by the government, led by HRH Premier. She expressed her country’s pride in the motivating legislative atmosphere prepared by the government to ensure the protection of the rights of the Indian expatriate workforce in the kingdom, praising the care enjoyed by the Indian community in Bahrain.
