HRH Premier receives Kuwaiti delegation

Manama, Aug. 8 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today a Kuwaiti government and media delegation on the occasion of their visit to the kingdom marking choosing Bahrain as a first destination for Kuwait Airways’ inaugural flight from its new building at Kuwait International Airport. The delegation included Kuwaiti Finance Minister Dr. Nayef Falah Al Hajraf, State Minister for Housing Affairs and Minister of State for Services Affairs Dr. Jinan Mohsin Ramadhan, Kuwait Airways Board Chairman Yusef Abdulhamid Al Jassim, Editors-in-Chief of newspapers, media persons, columnists, bloggers and senior officials. HRH the Prime Minister underlined strong and deep-rooted fraternal relations between Bahrain and Kuwait, praising the achievements of Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah and the government in building and developing Kuwait. He affirmed that choosing Bahrain as a first destination for Kuwait Airways from its new building reflects solid bilateral relations. He also lauded the high status of the company in the aviation field at the GCC and Arab level.  HRH the Premier underscored the efforts of the GCC leaders to serve their people and boost their welfare, stressing the importance of unity in deterring challenges. He pointed out the need for the GCC media to dedicate its capabilities and resources to serving national interests, stressing the importance of unity in warding off ambient dangers. He also called for vigilance regarding attempts to use social media networks to pass agendas that aim to drive wedges and cause division. HRH the Prime Minister called for more coordination to overcome challenges, asserting that unity is strength to maintain power as a strategic option. He reviewed with the Kuwaiti delegation strong bilateral relations, stressing that every Kuwaiti achievement is an achievement for Bahrain. He described development of Kuwait International Airport as a boost to Kuwait’s standing in the tourism and aviation field and a continuation of the development process undergone by the country under the leadership of Kuwaiti Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al Jaber Al Sabah. The Kuwaiti delegation expressed thanks and respect to HRH the Premier for his keenness on further boosting the Bahraini-Kuwaiti relations, praising growth and development in Bahrain which reflects the successful programmes and policy of the government spearheaded by HRH the Prime Minister.
