HRH Premier receives officials, Shura Councilors, MPs

Manama, Aug. 3 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister on Monday received at Gudaibiya Palace former Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Dhahrani; senior officials, members of the Council of Representative (MPs) and Shura Councilors. The meeting explored current local, regional and international developments as well as cooperation between the legislative and executive bodies on the revision of laws, legislations and regulations to hold the committers of terrorist acts accountable and to deter anyone who may attempt to destabilise national security or cooperate with any foreign group or country for the purpose of destroying the accomplishments and gains of the Bahraini people. His Royal Highness affirmed that the government will continue to cooperate with the legislature to provide dignified livelihood, quality services and regulations to help facilitate their livelihood and satisfy their variable needs. His Royal Highness urged for holding more similar meetings to reach common solutions and understandings to fulfill the ambitions of all citizens. MPs and Shura Councilors have expressed their gratitude and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa for his continuous support to legislative work lauding His Highness's keenness on boosting cooperation between the legislative and executive bodies which contributed lots of accomplishments for the nation and citizens since the beginning of parliamentary work in the Kingdom of Bahrain which continues to-date on the same path and tone. They hailed the constant keenness of His Royal Highness on Gulf unity that emanates from His Highness's experience and insightful vision vis-à-vis current and future circumstances which require from the Gulf states to uphold a united firm stance availing from the common culture, familial and social bonds between the peoples of the region which make them more ready for unity to stand in the face of anyone who may seek to sow division or sedition.
