HRH Premier receives Shura Council Chairman

Manama, June 10 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh and reviewed with him issues pertaining to the legislative field and ways of serving the national and citizens’ interests. HRH the Premier lauded the role of the Shura Council in the democratic march spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He praised the council’s keenness to upgrade the legislative system and boost its capability to cope with the global financial and economic developments and serve citizens’ interests. He stressed continuous cooperation between the executive and legislative branches to achieve the aspirations of all. The Shura Council Chairman thanked HRH the Prime Minister for his constant directives to boost cooperation between the executive and legislative branches which left a positive impact on the parliamentary march.
