HRH Premier stresses keenness on citizens livelihood

Manama, May 4 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister emphasized that Bahrain witnesses constant urban development and revival that qualified it to become an example in every field, whereas Bahraini citizens enjoy what is not enjoyed by their counterparts in major countries around the world. His Royal Highness said everything or project takes its share in the top priorities list of the government concerning citizens livelihood. Whenever it constitutes a necessity for the people, it ranks in the top priorities. His Royal Highness said "I am keen to hear everything that preoccupies citizens and I work diligently to solve such concerns; I do not wait until the citizen takes the onus of conveying a complaint, but I take the initiative of field visits and direct meetings with citizens to uncover such problems and to pave the ground to find their way to a prompt solution. His Royal Highness on Monday received several members of the Council of Representatives and the Shura Council, led by Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, former Speaker Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Dhahrani and First Deputy Speaker Ali Abdullah Al Aradi. During the meeting, His Royal Highness the Premier said despite the challenges undergone by the world, especially economic challenges, the Government strives to attain citizens satisfaction by providing all their requirements of services and dignified living requirements. His Royal Highness pointed out that continuation of government programmes that provide citizens their housing, health and educational needs the attaining of sufficiency from services and making villages similar in terms of urban development to cities whilst preserving their unique privacy. His Royal Highness the Prime Minister cited the government-parliament cooperation asserting the strong foundation of cooperation established between the executive and legislative bodies since the very beginning of parliamentary life which made the parliamentary experience an example in the region as well as the pivotal role of such cooperation in boosting the national action process.
