Imported buses and trolleybuses might be exempted from VAT

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Parliamentarians Ts.Bayarsaikhan and B.Garamgaibaatar submitted Wednesday to the Speaker draft amendments to the law and to the resolution on exemption of VAT and customs tax. The draft initiators want to prolong validation of the law on exempting some kinds of products from the VAT and customs tax. By this, buses and trolleybuses, imported before January of 2006, were exempted from these taxes under some conditions between November 2002 and January 2011. Now it is required to prolong the law's term in order to improve safety of the public transport, its reliable works and services, and to augment adequacy of public buses, the MPs say.
