Indochinese people cross border to see ‘Bike for Mom 2015’

BANGKOK, August 15 (TNA) - More than 500 Cambodians and Vietnamese on Saturday crossed the Thai border in the key district of Aranyaprathet in Sa Kaeo province to witness cyclists riding their bicycles celebrating the 83rd birthday of Her Majesty the Queen on Sunday, an event which will be recorded in the Guinness World Records. Her Majesty the Queen celebrated her 83rd birthday on Wednesday. More Thai customs officials were reinforced to facilitate the Indochinese people who mostly said they would continue their journey to the capital Bangkok to witness the grand celebration which will be held throughout Thailand. In the southern resort province of Ranong, provincial governor Suriyan Kanchanasilp ordered officials to clean the entire road where cyclists would participate in the ‘Bike for Mom 2015’ event with the total distance of 27.25 kilometres in the province. His Royal Highness Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn will lead the cyclists on Sunday which will travel from Bangkok’s Dusit Palace to the 11th Infantry Regiment King’s Bodyguard headquarters. (TNA)
