Indonesia Cup Tournament To Start On May 8

JAKARTA, April 26 (Antara) - The Indonesian Soccer Association (PSSI) will organize the Indonesia Cup tournament 2018, which will start on Tuesday (May 8) and will be participated in by 128 clubs. PSSI acting chairman, Joko Driyono, said here on Wednesday that the group draw will be held on Thursday (May 3) after the completion of the PSSI 2018 Anniversary Cup. The Indonesia Cup tournament was last held in 2012. Every club of the Indonesia Cup tournament will receive match fee, with the amount increasing during the course of the round. He further remarked that there will be no more match fee in the semifinal round, because Rp3 billion will be given for the champion, Rp2 billion for second rank, Rp1 billion for third rank, and Rp500 million for the fourth rank.
