Indonesia Secures One Title From Asia Junior Championship

JAKARTA, July 31 (Antara) - Indonesia secured a title from Asia Junior Badminton Championshiop 2017 here on Sunday through its mixed double pair Rehan Naufal Kusharyanto/Siti Fadia Silva Ramadhanti. Rehan/Fadia won the title after defeating Sung Seung Na/Ah Yeong Seong from South Korea 21-19, 19-21, 21-9 in the final round. "I was very happy as my target was reaching the semifinal round but finally we came out as the champion. Thank God we became a champion," Rehan said after the game. Fadia was also happy with the achievement. "I was glad and proud. The more so because in the group event we were defeated by South Korea. We had taken revenge and overcome South Korean players. However we will not be easily satisfied. We still have more matches to meet in the future. This will be our starting point," she said.
