Indonesian Passengers Likely On Crashed Malaysian Airlines Plane

Jakarta, July 17 (Antara) - The Indonesian foreign ministry is seeking confirmation about possible Indonesian passengers on the Malaysian Airlines plane that was reported to crash in Ukraine on Friday. "Our embassy in the Netherlands are still collecting information," foreign ministry spokesman Michael Tene said to Metro TV. Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 carrying 280 passengers and 15 crew was on its way from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur. Metro TV reported that a family member had said that her sister was on the plane.
