Indonesian Robotic Team To Compete In Hong Kong

Surabaya, E Java, Aug 15 (ANTARA) - Indonesian robotic team, RI-NHO, from the Surabaya-based Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS), will take part in the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union Robot Contest (ABU Robocon) in Hong Kong in August 19, 2012. "We hope they will win coinciding the Id-ul Fitr Islamic holiday. They have prepared themselves in the last few weeks," said the team`s coach, Rudy Dikairono here Tuesday. The team that will represent Indonesia was officially seen off by a number of ITS officials and Rector Tri Yogi Yuwono DEA, Vice Rector Herman Sasongko, and other academicians on Monday, August 13. According ot Herman, the RI-NHO stands for "Robot ITS Nang Hong Kong" (ITS Robot at Hong Kong). "Hopefully, RI-NHO can win in Hong Kong," said Herman Sasongko . RI-NHO robot team is representing Indonesia at the international level after winning the national level "Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) in 2012 at the Sasana Ganesha Cultural, Bandung Institute of technology (ITB) on July 1, 2012.
