Indonesian Vice Foreign Minister receives Bahraini ambassador

Jakarta, July 13 (BNA): Indonesian Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdurrahman Fachir, received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Jakarta, Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Sheikho. During the meeting, the Ambassador congratulated the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs on the election of Indonesia as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the period 2019-2020. The Ambassador also briefed the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs about the Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Global Award for Women Empowerment and the pioneering role of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, in empowering women, which this international award signifies. The two sides also discussed the importance of further strengthening the existing cooperation between the two friendly countries at various levels. (MOFA)
