Industrial output increases

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the first 4 months of 2013, natural losses of adult animals went down by 149.3 thousand heads, or 76.6 percent, to 344.1 thousand heads against the same period of the previous year. Out of the animals lost, 15.7 thousand were horses, 40.0 thousand were cows, 0.4 thousand were camels, 131.1 thousand sheep and 156.8 thousand goats. In the first 4 months of 2013, the total industrial output increased MNT 19.7 billion, or 3.0 percent, to MNT 682.5 billion (at 2005 constant prices) compared to same period of 2012. . This happened due to 24.2-percent to 2.2 times increases in mining and quarrying products such as crude oil, gold, and 0.1 percent to 8.0 times increases in industrial main products of manufacturing sector such as metal foundries, knitted goods, bread, juice, metal steel, milk, soft drinks, combed down, kind of sausage, bakery products, sheepskin coat, vacuum windows and doors, printing plastic cards.
