Information minister congratulates HM King

Manama, May 23 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister Isa bin Abdulrahman Al-Hammadi congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, on being chosen by the Arab Creators Union (ACU) as the Best Arab National Personality for 2015 and granted the ACU Oscar and the Creativity Excellence Medal. "The ACU honour is a landmark achievement for Bahrain, which reflects Arab and international confidence in HM the King’s wise leadership", he said, hailing HM the King as the pioneering architect of reform, modernization and sustainable development in the Arab World. The minister said that the Arab honour conferred on HM the King builds on Bahrain’s outstanding achievements, citing democratic, human rights and press freedom strides. He paid tribute to HM the King for promoting women’s empowerment, encouraging intellectual and cultural creativity, cementing national unity and the state of law and institution, hailing unprecedented royal humanitarian initiatives, ever since the National Action Charter was endorsed in 2001 and the reform process launched. Al-Hammadi stressed HM the King’s drive to consolidate pan-Arab joint action and advocate Arab and Islamic causes through his wise policies which aim at bolstering security, peace and stability in the Arab region. He hailed HM the King’s keenness on settling regional and international conflicts peacefully and on disseminating tolerance, peaceful co-existence and dialogue among civilizations, cultures and faiths. "Bahrainis have every right to take pride in HM the King’s Arab and international distinction and the advanced standards attained by their country in the prosperous era in regional and internal arenas on the political, economic, social, cultural and media levels," he said.
