Information minister hails Bahraini-Chinese relations

Manama, June 10 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD), Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, has lauded the strength of the Bahraini-Chinese relations of cooperation and friendship, noting that those ties are based on mutual respect and shared keenness to support regional and global security and peace.
The minister made the statements while receiving the newly-appointed Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain, Anwaer, with whom he reviewed ways to consolidate the good relations between the two friendly countries, particularly in the information and communication sector.

Al-Romaihi also discussed with him regional and international issues of common interest, wishing him every success in carrying out his diplomatic duties.

The Chinese envoy expressed thanks and appreciation to the minister for the warm welcome accorded to him, as well for his interest in enhancing media cooperation between the two countries.

He affirmed his country’s keenness to open up new horizons of cooperation with Bahrain to serve the common interests of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
